TRANSPORTATION

Airports

Jupiter Systems and the Bay Area are serviced by three main airports:

Oakland International Airport
San Francisco International Airport
Mineta San Jose International Airport

Mileage to the office from each of these airports is 13, 25, and 23 miles, respectively.

There are several options to get to Hayward:

1 - Rental car

All the major rental companies have rental offices at each of the airports . You can get a car after you arrive or you could reserve a car on line before you come - here are a few of the companies -

  • Hertz Rent-A-Car
  • Dollar Rent-A-Car
  • Thrifty Rent-A-Car
  • National Rent-A-Car
  • Budget Rent-A-Car
  • Enterprise Rent-A-Car

2 - Taxi

You can get one right outside the doors of the airport. Taxi fare from SFO and SJC to Hayward is about $80 . If the traffic is heavy (which it certainly is during rush hour) the cost can be substantially more.

3 - Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)

Ask at the airport for information, directions, and schedules, or refer to the website below. A one-way ticket to the South Hayward BART station (the station closest to our offices) will cost approximately $6 for the one hour train ride. The South Hayward station is about 2.5 miles from our offices and is a short cab ride. The website for information on BART's schedule and routes is www.bart.gov.

If you are coming direct from BART to our office call us at +1 (510) 675-1000 and we will come pick you up at the local BART station. If we can be of further assistance please let us know.

4 - Shuttle bus

Ask at the San Francisco Airport about shuttles. These are the many passenger vans you will see near the taxi line-up. The cost is about $40, about half that of a cab, but may take the 'long way around' dropping several people at different destinations on the way.
